The Breitling Endurance Pro 38mm is a versatile and lightweight sports watch designed for those with an active lifestyle. I chose to write a short blog post about this watch because I'm not only drawn to the colors the model comes in, but also the watch diameter! The new 38mm version of the popular Endurance Pro line offers a more compact case size, making it an ideal choice for individuals who prefer smaller wrist presence without compromising on performance and durability. In short, ladies and short-wrist people, Breitling has a professional watch for you, for us!
Here are some key features that I have managed to get the information online, summarised in one place. I also managed to take some pictures when I visited the Breitling Boutique in Raffles City.

The Endurance Pro 38mm features Breitling's proprietary Breitlight® material, which is said to be 3.3x lighter than titanium and almost 5.8x lighter than stainless steel. It’s highly resistant to scratches, corrosion, and non-magnetic, making it perfect for rugged use. Personally, I'm someone into sports like triathlons and duathlons, so this may just be the right companion!
Powered by the Breitling 83 Caliber (Thermocompensated SuperQuartz™), which is 10x more accurate than standard quartz, this timepiece ensures reliability in timekeeping during sports or outdoor adventures. It is also COSC-certified, which highlights its precision.

As mentioned in the title, the 38mm case houses a bold dial available in various color options, from white to vibrant red or blue, catering to different tastes. The watch has a bidirectional rotating bezel with engraved compass bearings, adding both function and aesthetic appeal. The legible dial features a chronograph with central seconds hand, a 1/10th second counter, and a 30-minute counter. Of course depending on the color dials you choose, it comes with a corresponding rubber strap of the color matching the dial.
With a 100-meter water resistance, it can handle various water activities, such as swimming or snorkeling, which isn't a surprise for a watch model focused around active lifestyle.
So how does the Endurance Pro 38mm stand out? It strikes a balance between function and style. Tough enough for athletes and adventurers but also maintains Breitling’s luxury aesthetic, making it a versatile piece in any collection. The smaller case size broadens its appeal, especially among those who found the original 44mm size too imposing. (That's 100% me!)
At the point of writing, the Breitling Endurance Pro 38mm retails at SGD4,770 and all colors are available (not limited edition). Nevertheless there's always a debate as to whether the model, whether in 38mm or 44mm, should hold a mechanical movement over a quartz one? Does it justify its price point? You can check all 5 color options on Breitling's website, but for me, this is definitely a piece that can be considered and I'm definitely more incline to the blue dial option!
